A Child Left to His Own is written
through the eyes of an eight-year-old-boy. Well, as close
as I could get to how an eight-year-old boy writes, at
least. The book poignantly captures the innocence of how
the boy in this story sees and feels about the confusing
things said to him, and the whirlwind that happens around
him. This is a book for adults. My intention is that by
reading it, you will be more easily able to recognize a
mentally abusive situation going on within the family of a
friend or relative - and then positive action steps can be
taken.
